Located in Sophia’s Plaza in East Windsor, CT, Baker and The Brew is a coffee shop that has all things comfort. One expects very little more than simple coffee from the unimposing white wall exterior. However, from the moment you step in, you are transported into a warm and inviting world. Set up much like a grandmother’s living room- complete with the comfy couches, wood furniture, and old books- The Baker and The Brew manages to offer peace, solace, and good coffee and food in the middle of a busy intersection. Colin and I have enjoyed the vegan protein shake, fruit smoothies, and a few of their baked goods. They also provide highly recommended breakfast sandwiches and have the convenience of a drive-through.
