We have been slacking quite a bit on this blog in the recent months, only due to some very exciting developments! Sharon started a per diem job at the company which she worked at as her very first job in the healthcare field, and which may possibly turn into a full time position. Colin has continued to be very busy in the primary care field, and also started working in the associated urgent care. Not least of all, we got engaged!! It has been a very exciting time filled with new experiences and joyous next steps, but we still often find ourselves thinking back to the very beginnings. It was Colin’s idea to first start this blog, with a vision of discussing hikes and local coffee shops, and possibly bring in some revenue later down the road with small advertisements (always the financial thinker), and I (Sharon) was always charmed by the idea of a little blog dedicated to our love and experiences together. I used to journal frequently when I was younger, never being as articulate of a speaker as I had wished, but somehow finding some semblance of clarity and eloquence in my written words. As the year turns to an end, I find myself reflecting on the gifts we have been given, and hope we continue to document them in this blog.
